Dr. Michael Steckman is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He received his Medical Degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine where he also completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine. Dr. Steckman completed his Fellowship in the sub-specialty of Gastroenterology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has been practicing in the Hudson Valley since 1983.
Dr. Steckman is actively involved in teaching resident doctors. He is the Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine, NICOM and Clinical Assistant Professor NYIT, College of Osteopathic Medicine; he also has Fellowship status in the American College of Physicians and the American College of Gastroenterology and is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the Mid-Hudson Gut Club. He has also served as the past Chairman of the Department of Medicine of the Kingston Hospital and as the past President of the medical staff at the Benedictine Hospital. Dr. Dodd’s internship and Residency in Internal Medicine were completed at New York University Medical Center. He also completed his Fellowship in the sub-specialty of Gastroenterology at New York University and has been practicing in the Hudson Valley since 1997. Dr. Dodd has fellowship status in the American College of Physicians and the American Gastroenterological Association.
He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the Mid-Hudson Gut Club. He is currently the Chief of Endoscopy at Health Alliance and has been chief of Endoscopy at Kingston Hospital since 2001.
